Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what data Lendra, a local-first loan management application, handles and how.

1. Local-first by design

Lendra is a native desktop app, not a cloud service. Your borrowers, loans, repayments, penalties, investments, and uploaded documents are stored in a local SQLite database on your own device. Lendra does not upload this data to any server it operates.

2. No third-party data sharing

Lendra makes no outbound network calls with your lending data. There is no AI provider, analytics service, or third-party API that your borrower or loan information is ever sent to.

3. Uploaded documents

Borrower ID images, co-borrower ID images, payment receipts, signed contracts, disbursement receipts, and collateral documents are stored alongside your database, referenced by relative path. Removing any document permanently deletes the file from disk.

4. Backups

Workspace backups are created and stored wherever you choose on your own device or server. A backup is a complete, portable snapshot, including embedded images, and is never transmitted anywhere by Lendra itself.

5. Admin credentials

Your admin username and password are stored locally and used solely to protect access to your own installation. They are never transmitted to any external service.

6. Analytics

Lendra does not collect or transmit usage analytics from your workspace.

7. Data retention and deletion

Since your workspace lives locally, you control it entirely. Delete it at any time from the app's Danger Zone settings, or by removing the underlying database and upload files directly.

8. Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
